Through Wilson, Manson met other music-industry players and the group that came to known as the Manson Family.

Polanski brought Sharon to a party where they met with their friends Jay Sebring, Steve McQueen and Michelle Phillips. Sharon go to dance, while McQueen talks to Connie Stevens. He noted that Sharon is using Polanski to make Jay jealous.
After Polanski was leave, Sharon hung out with Jay at her house. Visiting them is Charles Manson, claiming that he is coming to see his friends, the previous owners of the house that Polanski and Sharon now live in. He apologizes for the error and leaves.
Los Angeles
After six months, Rick and Cliff have returned to Los Angeles. They spend one last night together having drinks and hang out at Rick’s home with Francesca. Now Sharon was pregnant, and having a small party with Jay and their friends Wojciech Frykowski and Abigail Folger. Manson family arrived, (Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Linda Kasabian) with the intention of killing Sharon and her friends, but a drunk Rick came out and yell at them because their cars making too much noise. Sadie suggested that they kill rick and whoever else is in his house. The others agree, but as they going there, Flowerchild says she forgot her knife. Tex gave her the car keys to get it, but she ditching them and driving away. They broke in through. In the chaos, Rick torches Sadie, who burns to death in his pool, Cliff got shot, police arrived, Cliff taken to the hospital. Jay told Sharon about Rick, they invited him. Rick agreed and he finally met Sharon and her friends.
While Polanski was in London working on a film, Tate was living in the house and awaiting the birth of her son. The Manson followers entered the property. In the house at the time were Tate, her friend Jay Sebring, Polanski’s friend Wojciech Frykowski and Frykowski’s girlfriend, Abigail Folger, all four were brutally murdered. Tate begged Susan Atkins to reclaimed as a prisoner in the expectation that they would save the life of her unborn kid. She stabbed 16 times, either by Atkins or Watson.Manson had order to leave a sign, so Atkins wrote with Tate’s blood “pig” on the front door of the property.
Manson Family members
The next night, six Manson Family members, Leslie Van Houten, Steve Grogan and the four from the previous night’s murders, were sent to murder a couple, Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary. To connect the crime to the previous evening’s murders, Krenwinkel wrote “Rise” and “Death to pigs” on the walls. It took awhile for the police to put together that the Tate and LaBianca murders were by the same people. Tate and company murdered as part of a drug deal gone wrong.
Manson and several members of his family arrested. The main players in the case Manson, Atkins, Krenwinkel, Van Houten and Watson sentenced to death. Manson died in prison in 2017 and Atkins died in 2009, in prison, from brain cancer. Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Van Houten and Tex Watson are still in prison.
